Conduct in bone process to evaluate if PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) as an adhesive will support bone implants for patients with osteoporosis. Develop a process of analyzation to show the intrusion of PMMA in bone pores using pull test and image analysis.  The project scope will cover lab work for initial feasibility.  The bones will be studied under three separate testing conditions; healthy bones, decalcified bones without PMMA, and decalcified bones with PMMA. Each set of bones will be studied using the Nikon microscope to study the porosity and placed to undergo the pull test to determine the numerical value to the adhesion strength between the bone, screw, and PMMA matrix.
