The Master of Translational Medicine program draws together the resources of UC Berkeley and UCSF to train students in the Engineering, Business, and Clinical skills needed to bring new medical innovation from the laboratory to the clinic. Students come from backgrounds in engineering, biology, and clinical medicine and work on cross-disciplinary teams through coursework and a capstone project. MTM graduates go on to roles in large and small companies as analysts, consultants, regulatory specialists, and R&D engineers.
