A post operative knee brace is needed for patients who receive anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. While current post operative knee braces only provide rigid supports sagittally, they have flexible bands covering the coronal sides of the knee brace. The proposed knee brace is to improve the rigidity of the coronal sides of the brace, decreasing the range of motion of the knee, in turn reducing recovery time. The hollow shells for the thigh and calf areas of the knee brace will be 3D printed and securely fastened to the user by an M2 clip or the BOA lace system.
