The wearable technology device industry is becoming increasingly popular as devices become more sophisticated and accurate. Preventative care is the new measure of health care and so many devices are leaning towards long lasting monitoring. These devices need to be cheap and reliable, and in addition to that, stick to skin. The objective of this project is to identify test methods for pressure sensitive adhesives and measure their longevity on a complicated surface like the skin. Breaking it down between three major sections paper qualifications, down-selection, and testing; this project aims to identify good adhesives while defining a good baseline for this new emerging technology application.
